Rating and Comments

You may now rate a puzzle as well as add comments to a puzzle, if you are logged in and verified of course.

In an effort to encourage more folks to sign-up and post puzzle feedback, I've extended the rating and comment systems on to the puzzle side. In order for you to post comments, you are required to sign up an account and verify the account. This requirement does not extend to rating however, anyone may rate a puzzle with or without an account.

Minor Changes

Adjustments have been made to the site, there is no longer a "lightbox"-esk aspect where it loads the puzzle in a new window. Also, additional puzzle browsing links on the right.

On top of those changes, I will be incorporating puzzle rating and comments very soon. So the top rated puzzles will be displayed more predominantly.

I've added some additional data to the website.

On the right side of the website, you will see puzzles listed and grouped by Most Viewed, Most Wrong Moves, and Most Correct Moves. This may give you more seasoned players a chance to see what is trending as the hardest or easiest puzzles.

There are now nearly 100 chess puzzles in the database. Please try a few and see how you like them.

Beginnings

This website is starting to look like an actual website again after being re-written from scratch.

After deciding to re-write this website from the ground up, I had not realized the work that this would take. I am finally getting to the point where I can actually work on the main part of this website, Chess Puzzles.
